Spider’s Web

The ‘Two Different Parts Only’ Secretary’s Challenge at the South East London Meccano Club was to build a model using any number of just two different parts (plus nuts, bolts and washers).

My model of a spider’s web, complete with spider and fly, was built using only narrow Reverse Angle Brackets and 1¼” Strips. Its design is deliberately chaotic, just like a real web.
