Cluster II FGM

imperial.ac.uk/space-and-atmospheric-physics/research/missions-and-projects/space-missions/cluster

Cluster II was a European Space Agency mission to study the space environment of the Earth.

While working with the Rosetta team in the Space and Atmospheric Physics Department at Imperial College I also developed a website for the Cluster II team in collaboration with Julian Harris — this has now been updated and redeveloped to fit the Imperial College house style.

The Cluster II team was responsible for designing the Fluxgate Magnetometer (FGM) sensors, which provided accurate, high time-resolution, intercalibrated four-point measurements of the magnetic-field vector in the magnetosphere and in the upstream solar wind along the Cluster orbit.
